As a part of the activities in the project, the first training event was organized in Itainnova Research Institute in Zaragoza, Spain from 27th until 31st of March. Representatives of all partner organizations in the project participated on three days of training and of days of study visits.
During the training the partners were consulting on the design of the training program – Bootcamp which is combination of IT and entrepreneurship topics and will help young people easly to find job or start their own business in IT industry. So each of the partners, based on previous research, experience and consultations with stakeholders, gave input in the content of the Bootcamp. The main point was to create quality and demand driven IT and entrepreneurship training program that in future will be used for training young unemployed people with labour market required skills (employees in IT or IT entrepreneurs). Also was discussed the business perspective in this program, how it can be sustainable and strengthen the capacities of the partner organizations for fighting with the youth unemployment.
In the terms of the study visit, it was excellent possibility for all participants to visit organizations that have implemented similar programs for training people with IT and entrepreneurship skills, we saw their experiences, we networked, established new business contacts, got ideas for our training program, etc. Our first visit and tour was in the building of our host organization – Itainnova – public Technological Centre dedicated to guiding and helping companies, institutions and individuals to take a step towards excellence through innovation and technological development that was previously unimaginable.
Then were visited the following business incubators: La Terminal, Etopia and Zaragoza Activa where were presented excellent best practices of creation of job places in the IT industry.
